What to do when you need to find the answer.

My daughter called me this morning. She is moving out of her dorm today and is simultaneously getting ready for a trip to the Czech Republic. Needless to say, it’s probably a pretty stressful time for her. Added on to this already challenging day she could not find her passport. Ugh right?! She called me because she knows I can “see” things that are missing.

One time I had taken off a diamond ring that was a family heirloom and had put it in my shirt pocket. It fell out somewhere in the Virginia woods while I was foraging off trail with little kids. Using techniques that I learned from spirit, I was able to go to the exact spot in the forest and find it under the fallen leaves. Knowing this, my kids call me when they lose something.

My daughter lives in the southeast and I’m in California so when she called this morning I was just waking up. Being a slow waker-upper I simply texted her my technique for finding things. I also know she has the capacity to access this information and this would be a good learning moment, but mostly I was just being lazy.

There is no trick to this. Josie was the only one who laid hands on her passport and so somewhere inside she knew where it was. It is just that when our minds get “tight” there’s no space for the information to flow. This is true for something like a small object, but also for something big like your purpose. Somewhere inside you know the answer.

When we’re stressed or trying too hard our minds become constricted and the energy does not flow. Additionally, we are connected to everything that is and so even if someone else had moved Josie’s passport, if she could get quiet enough to connect with the energy of it, she would have been able to find it.

The lesson here is that if you’ve lost something, an item, your way, your purpose, you are the best one to find it. All that it takes is stepping back and getting out of your own way to let the information come through.

When this has to do with the big stuff, it can be helpful to have a friend assist you in getting out of your own way. If you ever need help, I am here. My door is always open.

With love,

Carrie
